Software/Data Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Software/Data Engineer on a hybrid basis in South Yorkshire for an initial 2 month contract.

Role Description:

The client is looking for a strong Software/Data Engineer with Azure and SRE/DevOps experience.

Must-have skills:

* Strong Python software engineering
* Azure cloud and data engineering experience
* Building and supporting data pipelines / ETL
* Strong SQL
* Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
* CI/CD, Git and automation
* Linux and scripting, such as Bash/PowerShell
* Hands-on SRE/DevOps and production support experience

Good to have:

* Databricks / Data Factory / Data Lake
* Kafka / Event Hubs / Spark
* Kubernetes
* Azure Monitor / Grafana / Prometheus
* Cybersecurity, SIEM/SOAR or financial services experience
