Senior DevOps Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.

This role will be Inside of IR35.

Key Requirements:

– The Engineering Platform Services teams deliver the platforms, tools, and systems required to develop our software and hardware IP.
– In this group, the Cloudbees CI team supports Cloudbees CI (Jenkins Enterprise) used companywide by engineers.
– They also provide libraries, guidelines, and standard methodologies for optimizing use of the service.
– You will work on technical deliveries under the guidance of the technical lead, contributing to requirements and planning, implementation, and delivery and will participate in production support.

Key Experience:

– Experience with Cloudbees CI or Jenkins Pipelines.
– Strong working experience in the DevOps field.
– Demonstrable background in Software Development and Build.
– A good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
– Experience with scripting languages like Python, Groovy.
– Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
– Experience of Linux-based infrastructure build, provisioning, and maintenance.
– Good knowledge of Cloud services.
– Experience of at least one of the following:
* AWS (preferred), Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
– Demonstrable experience in Infrastructure as code technologies such as
Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
