SAP Business Analyst (PP/MM)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (3-4 days onsite per week)

Role Overview

Whitehall Resources are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst / PP Lead to support a complex global manufacturing environment. This role will act as the SAP PP lead in North America, managing and coordinating a small global team while working closely with manufacturing and business stakeholders onsite in Pittsburgh.

The position requires strong discrete manufacturing experience and the ability to operate in a multi-instance SAP landscape with ongoing S/4HANA transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the SAP PP lead for North America, owning PP/MM processes and outcomes
• Manage and coordinate a global team of 3-4 SAP PP Analysts
• Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
• Support and enhance SAP PP and MM functionality across:
• Make-to-stock
• Make-to-order
• Assemble-to-order
• Participate in system design, configuration review, testing, UAT, and deployment activities
• Support ongoing S/4HANA template development and site rollouts
• Provide ownership and support during implementations, UAT, and training activities
• Collaborate with global IT teams across multiple SAP and non-SAP systems

SAP Landscape

• Global SAP environment with multiple SAP instances (ECC and S/4HANA with Central Finance)
• Additional non-SAP ERPs resulting from acquisitions
• Ongoing S/4HANA transformation and template expansion
• Highly regulated manufacturing environment with strong traceability and serialization requirements

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP PP / MM Business Analyst or Lead
• Proven experience in discrete manufacturing environments (continuous manufacturing experience alone is not sufficient)
• Experience working in global manufacturing organisations
• Strong understanding of end-to-end production planning and materials management processes
• Experience working with complex SAP landscapes (multiple instances preferred)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Location & Travel

• Based in Pittsburgh, PA – relocation package available
• 3-4 days onsite per week
• Limited travel, primarily during implementations, UAT, and training
