An SAP Plan To Produce Business Process Lead is required by Whitehall Resources to work with a boutique consulting client of ours on a contract till end of January 2027, with potential for extension or contract to hire. This position will involve approx. 50% travel to Ohio, travel expenses will be covered.

Overview
We are seeking a Business Process Lead to own the Plan to Produce workstream on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. This is a business-first role: the lead is accountable for business process design on a project where the transformation is focused around business outcomes rather than technical scope.
The ideal candidate brings deep business process design experience – primarily within SAP, but grounded in a strong understanding of the underlying business operations independent of the tool – and has implemented SAP as a business-led initiative where process design drives system design.

Responsibilities

• The lead must understand SAP S/4HANA functionality within Plan to Produce – spanning demand management and supply planning, production engineering and execution, material staging and production supply, quality management, and batch and inventory management – and be able to work backward from that functionality to define the business processes, master data, and inputs required to drive it.
• The candidate is responsible for leading the business through the transformation and will take the primary role in guiding the entire program through fit-to-standard workshops (for their domain), as well as resolve cross-workstream process dependencies, and hold the line on process integrity across design, build, and deployment.
• Preferably the candidate should have working understanding of SAP’s ‘Active Methodology’ having leveraged the SAP Best Practice flows. Experience creating business process flows following BPMN standards is preferred but past experience creating business process flows is a must
