About the Opportunity
Whitehall Resources are currently supporting a leading Utilities organisation with the appointment of an experienced SAP IS-U / EAM Specialist to join their Business Applications team in Pittsburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SAP professional to join an established end-user environment and play a key role in supporting and enhancing critical SAP systems across the organisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and SAP specialists to ensure SAP IS-U and EAM solutions continue to support operational requirements and future transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional expertise across SAP IS-U and SAP EAM/PM.
- Support, maintain and enhance SAP solutions across the utilities environment.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation of SAP functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.
- Work collaboratively across SAP modules and wider business applications.
- Support ongoing SAP transformation and improvement initiatives.
- Partner with external SAP consultants and system integrators where required.
- Produce functional specifications and documentation.
- Support testing, UAT and release management.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to other members of the SAP team.
Required Experience
- 8-10+ years of SAP experience, ideally within Utilities.
- Strong experience with SAP IS-U.
- Strong SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM) experience.
- Experience working within a Utilities / Energy environment.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Experience supporting and enhancing SAP solutions within an end-user organisation.
- Experience working with business stakeholders and translating requirements into SAP solutions.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Desirable Experience
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- SAP BTP exposure.
- Experience with SAP FSM / Field Service Management.
- Integration experience across SAP and third-party applications.
- Experience with SAP transformation or migration programmes.
- Previous experience working with SAP IS-U/EAM in a large-scale utilities environment.
