SAP Finance Techno Functional Consultant

Whitehall Resources are recruiting for a hands-on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance expert for our clients transformation program. The consultant will configure and validate Finance solutions, support end-to-end implementation delivery, and act as the company-side Finance Design Authority representative to assure the quality and suitability of the implementation partner’s work.

The role will bridge Finance process owners, IT, and the implementation partner, ensuring that decisions balance SAP standard capabilities, company policies, internal controls, and operational needs. The consultant will facilitate and document agreed resolutions and support the project from discovery through go-live and stabilization.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP Finance experience, including substantial hands-on configuration and delivery responsibility.
• Participation in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation; SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition experience is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in fit-to-standard workshops, finance configuration, testing, defect resolution, migration/reconciliation, cutover and hyper care.
• Demonstrated ability to review and challenge an implementation partner’s design, configuration and deliverables using evidence and SAP best practices.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, closing, statutory reporting, audit requirements and integration with upstream/downstream processes.
• Experience in multi-company or multi-business-unit environments; UAE VAT and regional finance experience are preferred.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.
• SAP certification in
• SAP Certified – Implementation Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
• SAP Certified Associate – Implementation Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Financial Accounting
• SAP Certified – Solution Architect – SAP BTP
• SAP Certified Professional – SAP Enterprise Architect
• Additional qualifications in enterprise architecture, project/program management for SAP product.
