SAP FICO Lead

Whitehall Resources are recruiting for a SAP FICO Lead to manage the SAP FICO track across a multi-entity group, driving finance process re-engineering, team leadership, user adoption, and delivery governance across diverse operating units including Contracting, Engineering Services, Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* S/4HANA Financial Architecture: Design and configure FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) using the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), CO (OM, PC, PA), Cash Management, FSCM, and RE-FX.
* Process Transformation & Adoption: Champion standard S/4HANA best practices, design end-to-end user enablement strategies, and lead change mitigation plans.
* Delivery Governance: Direct hybrid onshore/offshore teams, system integrators, and key internal users while acting as the primary functional liaison for executive leadership.
* Cross-Module Integration: Oversee Chart of Accounts and Business Partner mapping, ensuring seamless integration between FICO, EPPM, VSM, and HR Payroll.
The role:
* 8-10+ Years of core SAP FI/CO lead experience with at least 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.
* Deep domain expertise in UAE tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax), multi-currency accounting, and corporate consolidation.
* Hands-on functional mastery in S/4HANA Cash Management, FSCM, and RE-FX.
Education & Credentials: Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) or SAP S/4HANA Finance certifications are highly advantageous.
* Key Differentiator: Prior experience in legacy ERP migration (e.g., Oracle EBS to SAP) and GCC conglomerate/contracting/real estate context.
