Microsoft Fabric & Data Modelling Consultant (German Speaking)

A new contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft Fabric & Data Modelling Consultant to support the digital transformation of a global Finance function. The successful consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing a scalable Finance data platform using Microsoft Fabric, creating high-performance data models to support reporting, planning, and performance management across the business.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data platform solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Semantic Models, Direct Lake, Warehouse, and Dataflows Gen2
• Excellent knowledge of data modelling principles, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensional Modelling, and Semantic Layer Design
• Strong Power BI experience, including DAX, Measures, Time Intelligence, and performance optimisation
• Advanced SQL skills with experience designing relational and analytical databases
• Experience integrating data from SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and/or SAP SAC
• Experience implementing data governance, data quality, and standardisation frameworks
• Knowledge of Python, Spark, or Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate) would be advantageous
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills with experience working in Agile (SAFe) environments
