Our community is important to us, and although 2018 was a busy year, we wanted to make sure we took the time to support those who need it the most.
Last year, our Whitehall team has worked together to donate food, clothes and toys, as well as raising money for various charity organisations.
Some of our fundraising events in 2018:
- Pyjamas day and toys collection for Great Ormond Street Hospital
- Dogs at work day for the National Animal Welfare Trust
- Ghoulfest for St Helena
- Food collection for the Foodbank Colchester
- Christmas jumper day for Moorfield Eye Hospital
We wore our pyjamas to work on “Pjs Day” to raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital, who offer the UK’s widest range of specialist health services for children. We also made a donation of toys and clothes for the children at the hospital.
Our four-legged friends spent the day with us at the office as part of the well-being program and to create awareness and raise money for the National Animal Welfare Trust.
Every year, we host a Halloween party in support of St Helena, an organisation that helps people facing incurable illnesses and bereavement. This year, our Ghoulfest consisted of a bake-off, a fancy dress competition and games such as Donuts of Doom, Apple Bobbing and a raffle.
The Foodbank in Colchester is a local organisation that helps people in poverty with emergency food supplies. Our team has kindly donated non-perishable goods for this local cause and delivered our collection to their local warehouse.
This year’s Christmas Jumper Day was dedicated to raise awareness of eye cancer and the impact that can also have on the liver of those affected with this illness. The relationship between eye and liver cancer is not yet clear, therefore we raised money to support the research currently taking place at Moorfield Eye Hospital.
If you would like to make a donation to support any of these charity organisations, you can do so on the links above or you can contact us.
