Senior QA Engineer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer based in Berkshire 1 day a week, remainder remote for an initial 6 month contract.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design test plans covering voice IVR/IVA, web journeys, mobile apps (iOS/Android), live chat with unified ID&V and business rule validation
• Create test cases for intent capture, account ambiguity handling, multi-intent resolution across all channels
• Execute functional, regression, integration testing across telephony platforms, web browsers, mobile emulators/devices, chat platforms
• Validate channel-specific IVA behaviour matches requirements:
• Voice: Intent first, ASR/NLU accuracy, generic clarification prompts
• Web/App: Intent detection, UI validation, form handling
• Chat: Conversational flow, typing indicators, fallback handling
• Test cross-channel continuity (voice → app → web → agent handoff)
• Perform log analysis across ASR/NLU logs, web analytics, app telemetry, chat transcripts
• Design A/B test scenarios comparing prompts/journeys across voice prompts, web copy, app UX, chat flows
• Validate channel-specific KPIs: voice containment %, web conversion, app session time, chat resolution rate

Key Skills:

• Proven work experience in both Automation and Manual testing and software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
