Senior SAP Program Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior SAP Program Manager to join a major SAP transformation programme in Germany.
This is a senior programme leadership role where you will be responsible for managing complex SAP programmes, coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines, scope, budget and quality objectives.
You will act as a senior programme SME, providing leadership and guidance across the programme, driving effective governance, managing risks and dependencies, and taking ownership of key programme-level decisions.

Requirements:

• Proven senior-level experience as an SAP Program Manager
• Strong experience managing large-scale SAP transformation programmes
• Experience coordinating multiple SAP workstreams and delivery teams
• Strong programme governance, planning and delivery management experience
• Proven experience managing programme risks, issues, dependencies and escalations
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, IT and senior leadership
• Experience working with SAP implementation partners, consultants and third-party suppliers
• Strong understanding of SAP transformation programmes and delivery methodologies
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid delivery environments
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage complex programmes and competing priorities effectively
• Experience contributing to strategic programme decisions and driving delivery outcomes
• Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes is highly desirable
• German language skills are highly desirable
• Fluent English is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale SAP programmes from planning through to successful delivery
• Coordinate multiple SAP workstreams and ensure alignment across the programme
• Establish and maintain effective programme governance, reporting and delivery processes
• Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies and escalations
• Provide programme leadership and direction to internal and external delivery teams
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives
• Monitor programme progress against scope, timelines, budget and quality objectives
• Coordinate SAP consultants, technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners
• Drive programme-level decision-making and ensure actions are delivered effectively
• Provide clear and regular programme reporting to senior management
• Identify opportunities to improve programme delivery, governance and ways of working
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all programme stakeholders
• Support the successful delivery of SAP transformation objectives and business outcomes
