SAP GTS Lead

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP GTS Lead on a Remote basis for an initial 2 month contract.

Job Spec:
We are seeking a senior, highly strategic Transversal stream Lead for a massive, multi-year S/4HANA implementation (NCSP).

Although initial assignment is from June 1st to August 15th as a scoping task, but it has long term possibilities. Unlike a traditional siloed lead, this role manages a critical “transversal” stream cutting horizontally across multiple core end-to-end (E2E) processes, including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Lead-to-Cash (L2C), and Idea-to-Market (I2M).

The successful candidate must be a political diplomat and a technical architect, capable of driving global trade governance, building technical baseline frameworks independently, and securing cross-functional Key Design Decision (KDD) sign-offs-with a heavy emphasis on validating complex SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales (AIS) scenarios, SAP GTS, Customs management and E2E financial/logistical trade flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transversal Governance: Establish and own the E2E Trade Flow Governance framework across the S2P, L2C, and I2M streams.
• Intercompany & Trade Flow Alignment: Drive cross-stream alignment on SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales (AIS)and stock transfer processes, ensuring regulatory and tax compliance across automated legal entity handshakes.
• Scope & Backlog Resolution: Take immediate ownership of a critical backlog of 11+ high-priority, complex “XL/Large” global trade and tax activities currently in Release 2/3.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Navigate a highly complex, matrixed corporate environment to align Process Owners and Business Leads on global standards vs. local customizations.
• Program Synchronization: Manage the dependencies and timeline alignment for downstream technical builds, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Skills:

• 10+ Years of experience leading large-scale SAP implementations, with a strong focus on S/4HANA and SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
• Hands-on exposure or deep architectural understanding of SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales (AIS)architecture, including value chain monitoring and intercompany billing automation.
• Deep functional understanding of cross-stream data flows (e.g., how an AIS transaction triggers an automated purchase order in S2P and an intercompany invoice in L2C/R2R), customs management etc.
• Proven track record of authoring and defending complex Key Design Decisions (KDDs) to global audit and compliance standards.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills; ability to drive decisions in a multi vendor culture under tight, constrained timelines.
