SAP Finance & Integration Specialist
Ref: BBBH68207_1789056251We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance & Integration Specialist to support SAP Finance processes, systems integration, and operational stability across a complex multi-country environment.
This is a hands-on role focused on improving SAP Finance controls, reporting confidence, process standardisation, and operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, functional teams, technical developers, and external support providers to deliver reliable, business-focused SAP solutions.
The role requires strong SAP FI/CO expertise, integration experience, and the ability to support both project delivery and business-as-usual operations. A key focus will be ensuring SAP supports key financial and operational objectives through improved data quality, process governance, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP deployments and ensure effective transition from project delivery into ongoing support.
- Manage SAP Finance integrations with connected systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Analyse business and system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Improve process controls, data accuracy, and ownership to reduce SAP-related financial risks and P&L impacts.
- Support SAP processes aligned to customer contract, commercial, financial, and reporting requirements.
- Drive process standardisation, intercompany simplification, and improved reconciliation practices.
- Support management and visibility of rebates, liquidated damages, and other commercial reserves.
- Improve transactional and master data ownership, governance, and quality.
- Enhance reporting confidence through accurate SAP data and robust system integration.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support solution design, validation, and implementation.
- Act as a key liaison between business users, support teams, developers, and external providers.
- Support integration testing, regression testing, and solution validation activities.
- Develop training materials and user guidance for international SAP user communities.
- Facilitate multi-country workshops and focus groups to support process alignment and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of SAP improvement initiatives.
- Provide backup functional support across SAP PP, QM, and IM where required.
Required Experience
- University degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience supporting SAP Finance and multi-country SAP environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise across SAP FI/CO processes and configuration support.
- Proven experience supporting SAP integrations using IDocs, XML, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting both SAP project delivery and ongoing production support.
- Strong understanding of business process integration across SAP and connected systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP PP, QM, and IM modules.
- Experience operating within complex international or global organisations.
- Understanding of finance, supply chain, and manufacturing business processes.
- Experience driving process standardisation, data quality improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Willingness to commit to international travel and a predominantly site-based working model.
Highly Desirable
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- Experience with SAP Fiori and BRF+.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and/or JIRA.
- Exposure to Level 3 support models and third-party service providers.
- Experience creating and delivering SAP training content.
- Finance process improvement experience within manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting intercompany processes, commercial contracting, and divisional finance operations.
- French and/or German language skills.
