Power BI / Data Platform Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Power BI & Data Platform Engineer to support a major transformation program and help further develop the client’s data and analytics capabilities. You will play a hands-on role in building Power BI dashboards, developing data pipelines, and contributing to the continued maturity of the client’s data platform architecture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working across data engineering, data platforms, and analytics
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL
- Proven experience building and operating modern data platforms
- Hands-on experience developing data pipelines, including connecting source systems to a data lake
- Experience working with data lakes and modern data platform architectures
- Practical experience with Denodo, Spark, and Nessie would be highly advantageous
Project Details:
- Workload: Full-time
- Type: Freelance / Contract
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 weeks + extensions
- Location: Munich area – 4 days per week on-site
- Language: English, German preferred
- Clearance: Secret clearance required
