Wintel Engineer – SC & NPPV3 Cleared

Whitehall Resources are looking for a Wintel Engineer. This role is fully remote working for an initial 12 month contract.

***Inside IR35 – This role requires candidates to hold SC & NPPV3 Clearance***

Job Description:
* 5-10 years experience of workplace / digital workplace technologies and migration approaches, and deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
* Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM): Experience in using MECM to manage and deploy applications and updates.
* Cloud-Native Technology Experience: Proven and demonstrable hands-on knowledge of cloud-native technologies and architecture, including micro services, containers, and orchestration tools, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune / AutoPilot, M365, Cloud Identity (Entra).
* Knowledge and understanding of posture control technologies, i.e. Ivanti / Heat Device & Application Control.
* OneDrive Migration: Proven skills in migrating user home drives to OneDrive to facilitate remote working.
* Application Packaging & Compatibility Testing: Proven skills and knowledge in application packaging techniques, MSI / MSIX and ability to coordinate with end-users for testing business applications on Windows 11 and resolving compatibility issues.
* Security and Compliance: Understanding and proven hands-on skills with regards to security policies and compliance requirements, particularly in a high security environment (including penetration testing and policy alignment).
* Project Management: Project management skills to understand the migration phases, from initiation to full deployment, following the lead of project and programme management personnel.
* Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills to work with various departments and stakeholders, including customer, digital IT, and end-users.
* Troubleshooting and Support: Deep knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the migration and ongoing support for the new environments.
