Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Windows SME.
Key Requirements:
– You will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise on project deliverables.
– You will diagnose and resolve complex project-related issues related to deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, compliant and secure implementation and Hand Over of the infrastructure, observing and supporting Local IT requirements.
– This role includes project related tasks as managing ordering processes as well as handling local setup, including compliance template and NA configuration.
– Finally, you will be responsible for documentation, ensuring that it adheres to standards.
– Strong Windows and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure that no balls are dropped in between the teams.
– Ensure efficient, compliant and secure implementation of PSnet IT infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving complex project-related issues.
– Provide expert-level support for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Windows.
– Observe and support Local IT Requirement interpretation.
– Participate in capacity planning exercises to ensure optimal resource utilization and scalability of the infrastructure.
– Support in Local IT requirement conversion into IT infrastructure design.
– Stay updated on latest trends, best practices, and security vulnerabilities related to Windows and make recommendations for improvements.
– Optimize system performance by analyzing system logs, monitoring resource utilization, and implementing performance tuning techniques.
– Implement and maintain security measures, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, and system hardening techniques.
– Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
– Diagnose and resolve complex project-related issues, working closely with end-users, support teams, and vendors, as necessary.
– Perform regular maintenance activities, such as system updates, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
– Provide training and knowledge transfer to support teams and endusers on operating system-related topics.
– Support in the design process of the virtual environment -, network -, OU – and GPO – structure.
– Managing ordering processes for environments, server orders, and FW openings.
– Handling local setup, including compliance template and NA configuration.
– Qualification responsibilities include verifying server deliverables in TIMS, managing Local IT change CHG, and overseeing receiving control.
– Responsible for documentation, ensuring that it adheres to standards.
