Senior Data Consultant / Architect

Whitehall Resources are looking for a Senior Data Consultant / Architect. This role is hybrid working with 3 days per week onsite in Brussels, and the remainder remote working. This is a 26-month contract, working on a long-term project.

Job Description:
The Data Specialist supports the Data Manager, to whom they reports directly, in the context of their missions relating to the implementation of the data strategy: steering, governance, management, use and automation of data across the organization, implementation of a Data architecture and dissemination of the Data culture in the company.

As part of this mission, the following key responsibilities will be included:
1. Data Management Governance
o Continued development of governance
o PMO for various initiatives related to data governance

2. Data Valuation
o Development of data usage: reporting, analytics, automation, AI

3. Reporting Strategy
o Define the organization of the reporting developments to be implemented (centralized in IT, decentralized in departments, mixed, etc.)

4. Continued development of the Data architecture
o Data lineage
o Ensure the link between data lineage and process description

5. Managing reporting automation projects, in coordination with IT

6. In partnership with IT, define a mechanism for prioritizing reporting developments

7. Implementing a Data Culture in Change Management

Raising awareness of data governance and management rules
o Raising awareness among teams about data management and their role in the value chain (data culture)
o Promoting cross-departmental collaboration and cooperation to break down silos and streamline the flow of information

Throughout your assignment, you will comply with GDPR, ISO27001 and NIS2 regulations.
