SAP Program Manager / Director – Permanent Position – Illinois (Hybrid Working)

Whitehall have been engaged by a leading global consulting firm specializing in IT solutions, digital transformation, and business strategy to hire an SAP Program Manager to work within the North America SAP Practice on a permanent basis.

An experienced SAP Program Manager is required to lead large-scale, complex SAP implementation projects across diverse industries (focus on Consumer Goods and Retail). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP technologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing end-to-end SAP projects, including S/4HANA implementations. You will be responsible for delivering SAP programs on time, within scope, and on budget, while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals for the client.

To be considered for this role you must have experience in the following:

• Minimum of 10 years in SAP project management, with at least 5 years in a program management role.
• Strong understanding of SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Cloud) and experience leading SAP implementation projects in diverse industries.
• Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in a global environment. Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Expertise in driving organizational change and leading transformation initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders.
• Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
