SAP ISU Developer

An exciting new opening for an SAP ISU Developer has come up on with a client of ours on a Freelance basis.
Responsibilities:

Location: Remote/Germany
Duration: 6 Months+
Start Date: ASAP
Language Requirements: Fluent German (Mandatory)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within the SAP IS-U module.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain SAP IS-U custom enhancements and reports.
• Perform system configuration, unit testing, and support integration testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IS-U processes such as billing, invoicing, and meter reading.
• Participate in full-cycle project activities, from development through to go-live and post-production support.
• Ensure all developments are compliant with client requirements and industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SAP IS-U Developer in a freelance or contract capacity.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and IS-U module development.
• Experience with utilities industry processes (meter management, billing, invoicing).
• Proficiency in German (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote or onsite team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in S/4HANA environments or SAP CRM is a plus.
• Knowledge of integration with third-party applications.
