SAP EWM Consultant – German speaking

An exciting new opening for an SAP EWM Consultant has come up on with a client of ours on a Freelance basis.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with expertise in SAP Material Flow System (MFS) and ABAP Push Technology. The role focuses on designing and implementing cutting-edge warehouse automation solutions, integrating SAP EWM with automated material handling systems, and leveraging ABAP for real-time, event-driven communication.
Key Responsibilities:

SAP EWM and MFS Implementation:
Configure and integrate SAP MFS for seamless communication with material handling systems.
Design and optimize warehouse processes using SAP EWM functionalities, including task interleaving and advanced picking strategies.

ABAP Development:
Leverage ABAP Push Technology to enable real-time, event-driven communication between SAP systems and external devices.
Develop and maintain custom enhancements in SAP EWM and MFS to support complex business scenarios.

System Integration and Testing:
Conduct end-to-end system integration testing (SIT) for SAP EWM and MFS interfaces.
Monitor and troubleshoot MFS queues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency.

Automation and Optimization:
Analyze warehouse operations and recommend scalable, automated solutions.
Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP TM, and third-party systems.

Key Skills:
Advanced expertise in SAP EWM and SAP MFS, including integration with material handling equipment.
Proficiency in ABAP Push Technology, event-driven programming, and SAP development tools.
Strong understanding of real-time system communication and automation processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP EWM-MFS configuration, interface management, and telegram exchanges.
Knowledge of integrating SAP EWM with PLCs, WCS, and third-party logistics systems.

Qualifications:
5+ years of SAP EWM experience, including MFS implementation and ABAP development.
Experience with automation systems and real-time communication technologies is a plus.
