SAP ABAP Developer – German Speaking
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support a client within the banking sector.
The role requires strong expertise in SAP ABAP Development, with a focus on ABAP for HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP S/4HANA Finance, and SAP Banking Loans Management. You will act as a technical subject matter expert, working across multiple teams and contributing to key technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance custom SAP software solutions
• Develop and optimise applications using SAP ABAP and ABAP for HANA
• Work with SAP Fiori and modern software engineering practices
• Support solutions across SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Banking Loans Management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance
• Contribute to technical decisions across multiple teams
• Identify opportunities to improve software development practices
• Mentor junior developers and support the wider development team

Required Skills

• Advanced experience in SAP ABAP Development
• Strong experience with SAP ABAP Development for HANA
• Experience with SAP Fiori
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Experience with SAP Banking Loans Management
• Strong software engineering background
• Previous banking industry experience
• Ability to work as a technical subject matter expert across multiple teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• German language skills

Project Details

• Location: Germany
• Working Model: 100% remote possible from Germany
• Onsite: Occasional team meetings in Frankfurt
• Candidates: Must be based and currently working in Germany
• Start: ASAP / dependent on availability
