QA Engineer

Whitehall Resources currently require an experienced QA Engineer to work with a key client

**Please note this role falls INSIDE IR35**

Key Responsibilities:
* Automation Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts Leapwork and other automation tools.
* Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing where automation is not applicable, focusing on exploratory and regression testing.
* Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, create test plans, and execute test cases to validate functionality.
* Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and manage defects in the bug tracking system, ensuring clear communication with development teams for swift resolution.
* Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Performance and Usability Testing: Assess system performance and ensure applications meets usability and accessibility standards.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance QA processes, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:
* Writing automation test scripts for end-to-end & regression testing, UI and API layers
* Familiar with CI/CD technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps and Unit Testing
* Experience running QA activities in a cloud environment such as Azure Cloud.
* Work with the product team and SMEs to design tests throughout the delivery process to ensure readiness for live release.

Experience:
* Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, X-Ray and Confluence.
* Proven experience in complex cloud, legacy and hybrid integration projects.
