Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Project Manager

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Project Manager based in London for an initial 6 month contract.

The role of this Project Manager is to manage the planning and delivery of technology projects with focus on marketing & sales applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

The Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing the project plan, tracking and reporting project progress and taking action to balance project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and deliver technology projects
  • Lead project planning activities, agreeing and documenting project scope, targets and high-level plans required in order to translate desired business benefits into clear and achievable project objectives
  • Determine the project costs, approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule
  • Manage and maintain project budgets
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project plan
  • Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations
  • Report progress to Technology and external stakeholders as required, driving communication and co-ordination for the success of the projects, and delivering project status reports and other project information to project stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis
  • Proactively manage and address project risks and issues, escalating high priority issues and risks with suggested solutions
  • Review and manage all changes to project requirements through formally defined scope change process
  • Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks, making adjustments as necessary
  • Liaise with Architecture, Security, suppliers and wider Technology and business stakeholders to deliver projects according to the agreed design, plan and technology standards
  • Manage and co-ordinate project effort between different teams at different locations
  • Lead, direct and co-ordinate project teams comprising internal and external resources to maximum effectiveness to deliver projects to time, cost and quality standards
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors delivering the project
  • Obtain buy-in from business and project sponsors for all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, and scope changes
  • Participate in quality management reviews
  • Liaise with technology support teams to ensure business and support readiness and effective transition for deployment of new or changed services
  • Ensure all project documentation is of a high quality and is stored in an organised and accessible repository
  • Ensure infrastructure projects are managed using agreed methodologies, processes and tools

Key Experience:

  • Delivery & implementation experience with multiple CRM, marketing or sales related systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Marketing ERP system implementations required
  • Significant experience in project management for technology programmes and projects
  • Experience of budget planning and management
  • Strong project delivery experience across large scale, complex organisations
  • Strong leadership and a clear track record of delivering outstanding performance
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • An ability to work effectively in a matrix organisation is essential
  • Highly competent in technology project delivery
  • Skilled in project management and planning methodologies, tools and processes
  • Professional knowledge and accreditation in project management disciplines an advantage
  • Ability to manage all aspects of technology projects, including providing overall guidance and direction and overseeing financial management activities
  • Ability to document and communicate project progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
  • Ability to define, implement, and maintain project plans
  • Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
  • Ability to negotiate activities and changes to commitments / requirements with internal and external teams
  • Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
  • Ability to review in-flight and planned projects to identify opportunities for re-use and process improvement
  • Relationship management skills, ability to build and create a strong internal network across levels and disciplines
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Drive and enthusiasm
