DevOps Engineer – SC Cleared

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer for an initial 6 month contract on a remote basis.

*** MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE ***

*** INSIDE IR35 ***

Job Description:

Must have Technologies:

• The must have requirements centre around the base technology platforms that we build all our infrastructure):
• AWS
• Cloud Formation or Terraform
• Nginx
• Linux administration
• Packer
• Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)

Key Skills:

• Working within an agile context with the use of CI
• Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
• Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
• The must have skills will determine how well they will be able to integrate into our way of working and
• The principals we use when making strategic and long-term decisions.

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Hashicorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault, etc)
• Other networking technologies
