Whitehall Resources are currently looking for Business Analyst – Aveva PI.
Key Requirements:
– We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the analysis, design, development, and implementation of Aveva PI Modernisation, focusing on migrating from Legacy Active Directory (AD) to Aveva Identity Manager and upgrading Aveva PI to version 2023.
– The BA will play a key role in ensuring successful delivery of these initiatives by gaining an understanding of business needs, requirements and supporting the implementation process.
– Requirements Gathering and Analysis
*Arrange, facilitate workshops, and document the outcomes.
* Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to elicit and document high-level and detailed requirements.
* Conduct gap analysis.
* Create functional and non-functional specifications.
– Project Support
* Assist in creating the project plan for the PI modernisation and Identity. Management migration.
* Ensure all requirements are documented and signed off.
* Support Team and User Training Support.
* Participate in the creation of a knowledge sharing culture within the team to share knowledge, skills, experience, and best practice.
– Stakeholder Management
* Act as the liaison between IT teams, Third party vendors, technical experts, and business stakeholders.
* Organise and lead workshops, meetings, and discussions to ensure alignment.
– Solution Design & Validation
* Collaborate with Technical Teams and Solution Architects and developers to ensure that the proposed solution design meets both the functional and technical requirements.
* Support UAT including defining and producing test scripts, supporting testing and results validation and sign off.
* Analyse post implementation results.
– Documentation and reporting.
Key Experience:
– Minimum 5 years BA experience.
– Recognised business analysis qualifications with post accreditation experience.
– Previous demonstrable experience with Aveva PI System 2023 upgrades and modernisation projects is highly desirable (including its architecture, modules, and integrations).
– Experience in Active Directory (AD) migration or integration with modern identity management solutions is preferred.
– Strong experience in developing detailed technical/business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process models.
– Excellent people skills and able to work across different business unit cultures and countries.
– Demonstrable pro-active approach.
